Is there a better way of spending a Sunday afternoon than hanging out with the
Boss? I don't think so! Springsteen kicked things off with London's Calling and finished off with Dancing in the Dark; I found
this video on youtube. I live by the river! The set also included Badlands, The Rising, Born to Run, Rosalita, Radio Nowhere, Lonesome Day, The Promised Land, Glory Days, Jungleland, Outlaw Pete and Racing in the Street. Perfect :-)
Hard Rock Calling started off with
Gasslight Anthem from New Jersey (they are awesome - check them out). Next up was the
Dave Mathews Band, followed by
James Morrison. We turned up pretty early and managed to find a great location close to the stage. Check out how many people were there in the photos below. Getting home was interesting.
I'm working in Helsinki for the week. I had a great time looking around after work. The Cathedral is particularly beautiful. There is an interesting Russian influence here, particularly in the architecture, sculptures and industrial looking trams. Check out the naked men playing with hammers. Not sure what that is all about but I can see it ending in [lots of] tears.
